MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study was conducted at the Medicinal, Aromatic and Poisonous Plants Research Center, College of Pharmacy,沙特阿拉伯利雅得的沙特国王大学。急性胃溃疡是由Wistar白化病大鼠的各种有害化学物质(80%乙醇,0.2 M NaOH,25%NaCl和吲哚美辛)产生的。在另一组大鼠中进行了反分泌研究。估计胃壁粘液含量和非蛋白硫浓度,并在组织病理学上检查胃组织。
RESULTS: An aqueous suspension of Black seed significantly prevented gastric ulcer formation induced by necrotizing agents. It also significantly ameliorated the ulcer severity and basal gastric acid secretion in pylorus-ligated Shay rats.
