Abstract Title:Effects of a New Combination of Natural Extracts on Glaucoma-Related Retinal Degeneration.

METHODS: Cells and tissues of the retina were used to study biological mechanisms involved in glaucoma, to slow down the progression of the disease. Experiments mimicking the conditions of glaucoma were carried out to examine the etiology of retinal degeneration.
RESULTS: Our results show a significant ability to restore glaucoma-induced damage, by counteracting ROS production and promoting cell survival by inhibiting apoptosis.这些作用是通过在青光眼诱导前或之后施用该化合物后激活的细胞内机制证实的。特别是，主要结果是作为青光眼的预防作用而获得的，对所有选定的标记都有有益的作用，这两者都在细胞上和艾塞普准备。 It is therefore possible to hypothesize both the preventive and therapeutic use of this formulation, in the presence of risk factors, and due to its ability to inhibit the apoptotic cycle and to stimulate cell survival mechanisms, respectively.
